Looking from academic programs’ point of view, Psychology study can be approached in two ways –

§  Clinical Psychology courses

§  Psychology (as a Social Science) courses

Many students opt for combination courses. The combination of Psychology and Economics is a great combination. Some of the reputed universities that provide this combination are –

Panjab University

St. Xaviers College

There are two ways to go about it –

1.   Major in two subjects or the combination provided by university

2.   Major in one subject and take the other subject as either a minor or an elective

The eligibility criteria is not very rigid at the UG level.There is no rigidity that you need to have studied psychology or economics as your subject in twelfth grade. You need to have a minimum of 50% marks in 12th grade. Some colleges such as Christ University have their own interview rounds for admission.
