Arpan, IEI is a Statuatory body for Engineers in India. IEI conducts examination for its associate membership and these exams are Sections A and B. These are considered on par with B.Tech. These exams are opted by Diploma engineers for their career advancement. And this is also useful for Engineering graduates of one disciple who want to secure a degree in another disciple for career progression.
