Hello,

See, when it comes to pursuing a career or choosing the stream of graduation the utmost importance factor is your interest, if you don't find a subject interesting then there is absolutely no reason to pursue a career in the relative field, UPSC or any  other state PSCs exam have mostly humanities oriented subjects which involves study of history, geography, economics, law, sociology, public administration, political science etc, if you have any interest in these subject, you can pursue graduation in these field, and you can also consider doing BA-BEd integrated course, this will be useful if you aim for a career in teaching, having a humanities background only helps candidates being familiar with the syllabus, but you have to remember the eligibility criteria of any of these exams don't have any such restriction to belonging to specific stream, and candidates from any background can qualify, even if you go for a career in the domain of engineering/medicine/science/commerce etc, you can still qualify these exams because many toppers in the past had already, hence make your decisions accordingly.
