Hello candidate,

In order to become an IPS officer the candidate needs to clear the civil services examination which is conducted by the Union public service commission council. After successfully clearing the preliminary and the interview rounds for the examination the candidates has to choose whether he wants to become an IAS/ IPS/ or IFS officer based on his rank obtained.
