One requires skill and talent to become software engineer.  It does not matter whether you choose B.tech or BCA.

But if we see practically then I will suggest you to choose b.tech as b.tech has more value in comparison of bca. B.tech is a professional course.

More technical level of subjects are covered in b.tech.

So I will suggest you to choose b.tech.
