Hello,
No branch is good or bad, it depends on various factors. Where are you studying? Practical knowledge? Interest? etc.
If you are studying in a good college and have a deep interest in any of the branch you will most likely grab a job offer in that branch.
But taking your query in general scenario, most of the students prefer Computer Science over Electronic and communication engineering. Because the number of companies and job offers in India are greater in computer science and engineering branch.
The lack of job offer and difficult curriculum has shifted the students away from electronic and communication branch.
ECE consists of both hardware and software aspects of a device. But CS mainly consists on mainly software part.
You should choose the branch based on your interest.
