For admissions in Symbiosis Law School you will need to give the Symbiosis Entrance Test Law (SET Law))  or Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). This examination will give you admissions in the BA LLB and the BBA LLB courses affered at Symbiosis Law School.

About SLAT:

• Symbiosis International (Deemed) University conducts these exams for various law schools for their undergraduate programmes.
• The law schools which come under this examinations are Symbiosis Law School Pune, Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad and Symbiosis Law School Noida.
• The test is conducted online and lasts for 150 minutes.
• You can register for the test online at SET's online portal. The last date to register is on April 15, 2019. The Admit Cards for the test will be released on April 20, 2019. The examination will take place on May 4, 2019 in the centre had chosen in your application form. The results of the examination will be declared on May 14, 2019.
• The total number of seats in SLS Pune and SLS Noida is 300 ie. 180 BA LLB and 120 BBA LLB. The total number of seats in SLS Hyderabad is 240 ie. 120 BA LLB and 120 BBA LLB.
• For being eligible for admissions you need to have passed grade 12th from a recongnised board and have scored 50% marks in SLAT.

Examination Pattern:

• The examination consists of 5 sections which are for 30 marks each. The examination is for 150 marks.
• The five sections are as follows: logical reasoning, legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension and general knowledge.
• Each question asked in the examination is for one mark and there is no negative marking.

SLAT tentative syllabus:

• General English: Word usage, reading comprehensions, vocabulary, inference based questions, grammar, antonyms, synonyms, foreign words and phrases, jumbled para etc. 
• General Knowledge: UN Bodies, international events, major developments in environment and sports, politics, current affairs, sports, eminent personalities, awards and honours etc.
• Legal Studies: Indian Constitution its structure and sections, constitutional and contract laws, torts, IPC and the CrPC, vicarious liability, strict liability, international law, law of crimes, law covering politics, intellectual property rights etc.
  
• Reasoning and Analytical Ability: Analogy, syllogism, critical reasoning, directions, series, blood relations etc.
  
• Numerical Ability: agreement and disagreement. logical fallacy, odd-even discretion, profit and loss, percentage, algebra, mensuration, deductive reasoning, mental ability and logical mathematical analysis etc.

Admision in Symbiosis Law School, Pune as well as SLS Nodia and Hyderabad too is done through their own entrance test- SLAT.

There are around 840 seats available through SLAT in 5 year integrated law course- BA LLB, BBA LLB. The syllabus of the test includes 5 sections- Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge.
