To get admission at a good engineering college, you will have to appear in JEE Main entrance exam. It is a national level engineering entrance exam at undergraduate level for admission to national institutes - NITs, IIITs and CFTI and many private institutes. 
If you qualify JEE Main with ranks upto 2,24,000 you will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced, the entrance exam that will open your gateway to IITs - the prestigious most engineering institutes of the country. 

There are some other engineering exams too that will ensure quality education. These are SRMJEEE, BITSAT, VITEEE, MUOET and there are state level exams too in which you can appear after checking your state eligibility - MHTCET for Maharashtra, WBJEE for West Bengal, UPSEE for Uttar Pradesh, KCET for Karnataka, KEAM for Kerala etc.
