Hello Aspirant,
If you want to get into a government college for a Bachelor’s (or BPO) in Prosthetics & Orthotics in India, you typically need to take NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) or focus on state-level medical entrance exams, since many institutes still take in students using these scores. Some universities will have their own entrance test while a few others may be will accept students based on their Class 12 PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) marks.
Hello, if you want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from a government college, the most common entrance exam is NEET-UG in India. Some government medical colleges and institutions offering this course consider NEET scores for admission. Additionally, certain institutes like AIIPMR (All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) in Mumbai or NILD (National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities) conduct their own entrance tests. State medical entrance exams can also be applicable in some regions. You should check the specific eligibility criteria—generally, you need Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12 with at least 50% marks. Start preparing early with a focus on Biology and application-based questions, as this field is technical and medically oriented. Also, stay updated through the official websites of these institutes to know the exact admission process.
Thank you, and I wish you success in securing a government seat.
