Your 12th board marks are just an eligibilty criteria for any government college. The admission into the college is purely dependent on the marks and rank you scored in your jee mains or jee advanced examination. There is a cutoff mark for every college which you may differ year to year.

Dear Adarsh,
The selection in any governmnt college that you want through jee mains is merely dependent upon your marks and rank in jee mains or advance. 12th percentage is the second criteria after being eligible for any govt. College which varies from college to college.
Hope you score good in JEE.
