Which group in b tech helpfull for civil services

Hey Ajith,

Hope you are doing good. As you want to take civil services and go for batchelor of technology right now, actually any group you take does not matter much. Maybe you need to think right in which field you are actually interested.

Hi aspirant

If you are an engineering aspirant and intrested in civil services then you should opt these streams:

1.Mechanical Engineering

2.Civil Engineering

3.Electrical engineering

These streams are known as core branch .These are also one of the optional subjects in UPSC(For IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS etc) .

Also with these subjects you can appear in ESE(Engineering service examination-IES).

There are lots of government jobs for these stream.
