Both branches are Circuit branches. Many Software companies allow Circuit branches students to sit in their placement process. When you compare both branches , ECE is the one that has more chances for overseas placement. It doesn't mean that EEE person has no chance, it's a relative comparison. Placement at oversees companies depends on your skills but if you have ECE then you have chance to sit for more companies in placements.
