You can take admission in any of these courses because both are very exciting but people are scared to do experiment when it comes to taking subjects  so they choose usually the traditional ways. So just that is th case with the marine microbiology. Students usually choose medical microbiology in India maximally in comparison to the marine microbiology. So I hope you get your answer.
