Actually  chemical composition of kerosene is quite complex,  it is a complex mixture of following  :-

• paraffins (55.2%),
• naphthenes (40.9%), and
• Aromatic Hydrocarbons (3.9%).

So Actually ,Kerosene tend to contain Hydrocarbons that have anywhere from 10 to 16 carbons in the chains.
