First of all congratulation for the rank. Secondly, IITs offer 11000 seats so clearly you have a chance. To go into old IIts you have to compromise your branch. You can only opt for Science, Biotech, Metallurgy or Geology. You can try new ones Like IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Roper, IIT Indore. You also have an option of branch change after your first semester only if u score good CGPA (above or equal to 8.6), it's quite difficult but not impossible. You can also opt for fo courses in ISMD. Further, keep a close eye on their previous year and this year cutoffs.
