Both the fields are best in there core fields I would like to suggest that in which field you are interested take that field..but as per the recent surveys the electrical engineering is best.it studies with the application of electricity electronics and electromagnetism.

Electrical engineering has now subdivided into a wide range of subfields including electronics, digitals computers,computer engineering,power engineering,telecommunications,control systems etc.

You can see many of these subdisciplines overlap with other engineering branches, spanning  with a huge number ofe specializatiyons such as hardware engineering, Power electronics etc.

If you work in core fields you will get higher packages.
