It is completely depends on your interest and aptitude. Biotechnology requires a serious interest in the field of biology while on the other hand biomedical Engineering require a good grip in mathematics as you have to do research about the diseases like cancer.

But when we talk about the Countries like India, then here we find a good scope of Biomedical Engineering.
