Your question is a bit unclear, I don't know with which course you are comparing B.Tech,  but as far as B.Tech is concerned,  it is definitely a good course, on the completion of B.Tech,  you can expect a direct placement from the college itself. Other courses like B.Sc and B.com can't give you as good placement as a B.Tech degree can.
