The core difference between BA Programme and BA(Hons) is that the former doesn't involve in depth study of any subject, there are combination of subjects which provide you basic understanding however if you chose to pursue BA(Hons) in any subject then you will get the in depth knowledge in that particular subject, also it's a great choice in case you want to have a career in academics like pursuing further higher studies, you can do master's degree, you can become expert in that particular subject and that's also great for a career in teaching, other than this both the courses provide you opportunities for appearing in government exams which are based on the eligibility criteria of graduation in any stream from a recognized university, generally the value of BA(Hons) is definitely more.
