CAT on the other hand is a management entrance examination offering admission in MBA, PGDM and similar courses of Post Graduation in Management. You can get admission into top IIMs and other top Business Schools.

It totally depend on your interest if you want to pursue technical or management education in your post graduation. Both degrees offers the best opportunities to bright students in their respective field.
