When we say best, what are we referring to?

Best in overall sense, right?

Best for the person who is receiving the knowledge to clear the exams.(that’s you).

However, this “best” is unfortunately twisted.

If you closely follow few institutes that have big number of students, you might regret your decision to join them. The institutes that have huge numbers ( strength of more than 15 plus per batch) don’t tell you their “ conversion ratio”.

Conversion ratio is how many people get selected out of number of total admissions taken in a calendar year.

So a institute can boast 25 selections while their overall strength might be more than 200+ per year! (That is just less than 15% conversion ratio!).

We need to pay attention to these things.

Also, the teaching pace is constant for big institutes which means if you are not getting a concept, you’ll feel hesitant to ask a doubt every time (in front of 30–40 odd peers). This degrades the spirit of learning. You can’t ask silly doubts.

Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam, has rightly said- “ questions are never stupid, answers are!” (paraphrased).

So, lets not hesitate to ask questions.
