So as per your query, of course both of the degrees have it's own value. But doing both of them without having any knowledge in either of them is no more better than doing a single degree.
So it will be better for you to do a single degree in BTech, so that you can have a valid degree and knowledge as well in a particular field. However doing dual degree is also good, because even if one of the degree does not provide any placements the other one will give you.
