MBA based teaching is more like into practical, smooth and stress free teaching. Most of the colleges gives you freedom in the way of your teaching they wouldn't interupt with your style. There will also be a lot of activity going on with in the college so you wouldn't be bored out even if you are not taking any class. The class hours are comparatively lot less. 

In Mcom the teaching will be more or less like a classic college, you might have syllabus targets to finish, assigment targets to signup for. The class hours are apperantly more.
