Hello Saurav,

ECE is best for a placement. There are many job oppurtunities for electronics & communication. You can join in any field for ex Aerospace compinies also.

Job oppurtinities even in the field of Telecom are also good. you can also apply for government jobs  for ex. ISRO, DRDO.

There are many oppurtunities in other Places like NAL, HAL, Boeing,

Wish u all the best

Hi Saurav Chaudhary !

In my view , ECE is a better branch than IT . Information technology is a branch  where you learn about processors, compilers develop algorithms etc. But at the end of the day it all comes down to your coding skills. Companies recruit you on the basics of how good a coder you are.

In Electornics and communication branch you learn about microcontrollers and communication but keeping in mind that microcontrollers need to be programmed so you have to learn coding anyhow. And if you are dedicated enough you can use your little bit of coding knowledge on sites like codechef and develop your algorithms alongside.
