Hi Saloni,

The institutes which are autonomous that is not affiliated to any universities provides PGDM course. MBA is more theortical based and exam oriented. PGDM focus on building soft skills and is industry oriented. It prepares you for job market. Both the fields have their own importance.

nd companies give more preference to which student like student with PGDM or student with MBA?

MBA course is provided by the colleges/institute which are related with universities. Nowadays, companies refer PGDM candidates over MBA. PGDM contains updates syllabus. The syllabus of PGDM is updated according to the industries/companies requirements. It means PGDM provides what the comapnies needs in the future.All the best!!
