In respect to job prospect and salary, Electrical is little bit ahead . But if you want to go for higher studies and research, Biomedical is little bit ahead of Electrical. According to me Biomedical is the specialised branch of Electrical. Because after doing Bachelor's in Electrical many students pursue Masters and Phd in Biomedical Engineering as specialization.

But outside India, there is large scope of Biomedical Engineering. But if you mainly focus on signal processing and image processing in bachelor's degree with BioMedical Engineering than it may be helpful for you in both job prospective and research.
