Dear Student,

Integrated Mtech is a 5 year course which combines of B.Tech+M.Tech.You have to study btech till 3 year after 3-year you have to study mtech In 4th year you will be study syllabus of mtech 1st year and in 5th year you will be study syllabus of M.Tech 2nd year.It is good if you have interest in research and want to do specialization in any field.You will be save 1 year by doing this.You cannot sit in placements in 4th year as you have to complete your degree but later there will be many good opportunties for you if you have done this course from reputed institutes like IIT,BITS

On the other hand,btech is 4 year degree programme.You may get placed into companies earlier by taking this course as many companies want btech graduates.You will get more work experience if you placed after btech which is not in the case of integrated degree.It depends on you to select between this two.If you have make your mind for  pursuing mtech already then you should take integrated dual degree course from a reputed institute only.
