If you are talking about placement and package then
Ec is better than mechanical engineering
Also it depends on college that you are choosing.

Ok...tell me which is better :: EC at BVB Hubli or Mechanical at BMS Bangalore

Dear Viyan
Both are good branches. First go through the subjects in those branches. And choose the branch, whichever passion chooses.
For placements, ECE will be good option.
