Maitreyi and knc both are top colleges for pursuing english hons. The faculty is super supportive in academics, the crowd is also above average. Classes are interactive and interesting. You can go for any one tbh both are equally good. Its your call whichever you prefer on the basis of your location.

Hello student both college are like sisters college with good placements I suggest you to go according to you locality which is near by your house.
Kamla nehru :-The placements are good. About 60% of students get placed just after graduation. The average package in my course is 4 lacs. The placement cell is good. They organize workshops and seminars from time to time. People here are really hardworking. It gives opportunities for students to be a part of big reputed companies like WIPRO.
Maiterayi:-Placements in  college are good. This year, the highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA. We had on-board companies like E&Y, FIC etc. The profiles offered were in operations, marketing, finance, etc., domains. The college conducted an internship fair where companies like Nestle, Britania, LIC, IDBI Bank, etc., visited our college.
