Which is better giving one paper exam next year of 12 or all sub exam as private candidate in cbse ???

You can reappear next year but it will be good for you to clear that exam in this year by giving compartmental. CBSE take compartment paper for one who fails in the month of July or August. So he/she doesn't have to waste a year.
If you have good marks in other subjects, then you can reappear next year for that one exam.
