CSE at many of the IIITs are a preferable option over lower branches at NITs, provided youre genuinely interested in pursuing CSE. Otherwise, I believe NITs after IITs are some of the best Technical Institutions of India with strong infrastructure, faculty, placements as far as most of the Top 10-12 NITs are concerned.

Dear Aditya,

IITs(Indiam Institute of Technology) always have an edge over NITs. The placement records are beatable of IITs.  Also, When it comes to the quality of education provided, IITs are ahead of the NITs. Moreover, it also depends on which branch are you enrolling in. But, You have to crack jee advance to get into these institutions of IITs. And, Yo u have to crack jee mains with required rank to get into NITs.

Hope this helped in answering your query.

All the Best!!
