IIT indore is  a better option as compared to IIT Dhanbad,  IIT indore has a better placement than IIT Dhanbad. Also indore is a nice city as compared to Dhanbad and you have to keep all these factors in mind while opting for a college. So I will suggest you to opt for IIT indore.

Both IIT Dhanbad and IIT Indore are good and must not be compared as such. Both offers good ambience . The faculty and infrastructure is good.
You must keep in mind that it is the students that make a college great. So,if you have that calibre and intense affection for Mechanical Engineering then go for it and put in your efforts with sheer dedication.
