Between the two colleges you mentioned above student reviews are better for IT at Haldia institute of technology. CSE or IT, students from either of the branches, end up at same software jobs. You can pick Haldia Institute of technology.

I would suggest you to go for CSE in Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology, Delhi. It is well known for its coding environment. The students from their are considered one of the best coders. Also you will set advantage of having degree one from NSIT and second of DU as it is affiliated to Delhi University. CSE is the most demanding department at NSIT by students. Go for it.

Without any doubt, Haldia Institute of Technology is far better than Netaji Subhas Engineering College.
The placement and job opportunities from this college is very high if you study with seriously then you are sure that you will be hired from this college. Last year four hundred student is hired out of four hundred fifty students and a highest package is eighteen lakhs.
The hostel facilities are okay .  The charge is around 7500 Rs for 6months . And the hostel is fully furnished and tiles also . Also every Sunday , maitanence is going on.
