One distinct difference between supply chain management and operations management is that supply chain management is focused externally. Its focus is on: Planning products that consumers will want to buy. Sourcing raw materials, components or parts.

Mba in Operations is better as its superset of MBa in Supply chain management and gives indepth coverage of Supply chain management,, Total quality management and lean management, Project management  Procurement and Logistics, Vendor and bId Management and Contract management  

It is more acceoted and demanding amongst recruiters as well.
