Dear aspirant,Kudos on clearing JEE mains.So as per your question my straight forward answer would be mechanical at NIT-hamirpur for any date sure shot.This decision is on the basis of college exposure,industrial tie-ups,campus,college life and a very important factor i.e. Branch.

Nit hamirpur is better than hbtu in terms of education, placement, hostel, acedemic facility.we all know that nit is one of the top colleges of India and it's faculties are highly experienced.placement record is also good.so that you can go for it.
