Scouts&Guide was started in india somewhere arround 1909 with a aim to serve the society. It was voluntary and continue to be so and still in extent post independence. BS&G(Bharat Scouts and guides) it is commonly referred as because S&G was started by British.Its more for the age group of 11-17 years.

NCC is whereas more affiliated to indian army. As per the facts go, NCC was formed with a motive to prepare the youth for any emergency situation like war or any calamity.It is often referred as the second line of defence of the country after the indian army.It was founded in 1948 in India (origin goes back to 17th century, Germany).It is a 3 years course(earlier 2 years).
