Hope you are doing great.  The placement at NID is far superior than that which you can obtain through UCEED admittance to institutions. NID is a design school that teaches design in a variety of subjects, whereas UCEED administers tests to qualify students for IITs and some design schools. IITs have seats set aside for students who have completed the UCEED programme.

Both NID and UCEED are good courses. It depends on your interest which course you want to select. NID is a design college where design in varied fields is taught whereas UCEED conducts exams to get students for IITs and some design colleges also . IITs have seats reserved for the students coming through UCEED.

However, What i think is that you must select NID over UCEED. The placement of NID is way better than that which you will get through admission in colleges through UCEED . The simple reason is that NID is solely dedicated to designing and is very prestigious brand.
