BCom(Hons) is anyway more valuable than BCom, the former is a specialized course while the latter is just overview of all subjects with no scope for specialization.

In case of BCom, it becomes valuable only if you choose to pursue higher studies as the market value of BCom(hons) is comparatively higher, it being a specialized course offers more in-depth learning, opportunities and pay scale.

Both of the courses are Ug courses and equally good. it completely depend on you choice which course is good for you.

Basic differences beetween both the courses are:

• In Bcom you are just taught an overview of all the subjects. While, in Bcom(Hons.) You are taught in depth about all the subjects.
• In Bcom (hons). you can specialize in Accounting or Economics whereas in Bcom you are not going to specialized in any subject.
• Industry demand are slightly high for Bcom( Hons) than BCom
