Btech Course is spmewhat more practically intensive than the  BE Course which is more theoretical. The Difference between two degrees Can be understood from their names itself, Engineering Vs. Technology. Engineering is a science, dealing more with theoretical concepts and principles, Technology deals with more with the applications of these theories for practical purposes. So in the end it is on you what you Choose.

BE is data oriented whereas btech is skill oriented. Both of these courses have their importance and place in the society. If a person is interested in manufacturing of components, then they should choos BE, but if they are interested in modifying the components, then they should choose BTech. 

The most obvious difference between the two is that BE is Bachelor of Engineering and B Tech is Bachelor of Technology.The course materials as well as orientation of these programs are quite dissimilar.While BE is data orientated, B.Tech is skill orientated. BE is more of a study based on theory and B.Tech is more of application engineering.


One will never be able to decide which course is better between the two. Both these courses have their own importance and place in the society. If a student wishes to join a field that is engaged with the manufacturing of electronic equipments, then the BE field is more suitable for him.
If a person wishes to join a field that makes electronic equipments more attractive by modifying them, then the B.Tech course is more suitable. There are lots of specializations available in both these fields for students to choose from. Students can choose either of these fields on the basis of their plans for the future and their strengths.

Both the degrees you have mentioned are almost same. They differ in the degree at which they let the students develop and use data for real life applications. BE is more theoretical. Btech includes more practical work. If you are interested in doing research and related things it is better to choose BE. If you need a job right after college then either of the two works.

Hi ! Listen , both are same in the term of degree, status and job opportunity. BE means bachelor of engineering and b.tech means bachelor of technology. Both are same. In IIT's it is b.tech but in normal Government College it is BE. so hope you understand and best of luck to you.
