Based on the current placement scenario I'd side with Electronics engineering as you'd know as well. But we don't know what the situation would be say after 5 years. The answer to your question depends on whar your interests are. Because both the branches are not similar at all. So make the choice based on your interests.

As per your question according to me both are the better options but I think it depends on you that in which branch you have more interest. You must select that in which you have more interest because see if you have no interest then it should be very difficult for you to get success for you.
