Don't see the college you are getting at first. Look at the course you want to pursue. If you are interested in pursuing CSE as your subject, go for NIT. There is no point in going for a top college by compromising your field, that won't let you excel in it.

Yeah, if yu think you can go for both and have no particular interest as such; then go for IIT, be it mechanical branch
