hope you are doing well

70 percentile is not good percentile in mains  it's difficult for you to get a government college seat.

Although a candidate cannot seek admission to top institutes like IITs or NITs with a 60-70 percentile in JEE Main even if applied in SC/ST or OBC categories, admissions into B. Tech. courses in other institutes are possible in that range of percentile scores.

70 percentile is considered as a average percentile in mains.

you can look for private college for mechanical engineering but its hard to get a seat in government engineering college.
