Some of the highest paying engineering branches in India are:
CSE: The expected salary for freshers is from Rs. 2.4 Lakh PA to Rs. 8.5 Lakh PA for jobs in India by the major MNCs.

Mechanical Engineering:  The starting salaries for mechanical engineers range from Rs. 1.8 Lakh to Rs. 5 Lakh.

Civil Engineering: In construction companies the salary ranges from Rs. 3 Lakh to Rs. 5 Lakh PA.

Electrical Engineering:  The starting salaries for electrical engineer freshers range from Rs. 1.8 Lakh PA to Rs. 4.5 Lakh PA.

ECE: The salary range for EC freshers range from Rs. 1.5 to Rs. 3.5 Lakh PA.

You should choose the one which interests you as well along with the package consideration.

All the branches are good in engineering. Choosing a branch depends on your interest and passion.

If we compare the branches in terms of highest package offered then it is CSE branch. It has highest number of jobs offered with high packages.
