You can do B.Tech from IITS, NITSs, BITs, VIT, SRM, Manipal and etc. Once you are done with your graduation in engineering, you can give Gate exam to pursue M.Tech from IIT. This will be really good for your career. And if you talk about branch then Mechanical comes first then Electrical and lastly I would consider Petroleum.
