I would suggest a laptop with i7 processor, at least 8 GB RAM (16 GB will of course be much better), a graphic card (preferably NVIDIA) of at least 2GB, storage capacity of minimum 500GB (trust me, 1TB is most suitable). And rest, more 3.0 USB ports etc.

Brand too has some importance. Dell, HP, Lenovo & Asus are good.

The another important thing is budget. The laptop having above mentioned configuration may cost around 70K.

For a range between 40K-60K, following configuration will be available:

i5, 8GB RAM, 2GB Graphic Card, 500 GB/1 TB storage.

A laptop with lower configuration than this will not help an architecture student for his complete graduation period of 5 years.

A laptop is a precious asset to an architecture student. So please spend wisely on it and after having a thorough research.
