It depends on what you have opt for during your engineering and what you want to do in your career. It’s completely a personal choice.

For example: someone done Bsc IT and took MBA in International Business as didn’t wanted to just stick to IT in the future.

For Btech students the best MBA course is PGDM from IIMs in operations management as a Major. This will expose you in depth with your field and also let you get back to the industry with better knowledge, skillset and a good package. There are other fields too like Data analytics in HR or Fintech which are aligned towards industry and are good for Engineers.

It totally depends on your interest.You can go for the stream in which you are interested like MBA in Finance,Human Resource,IT MANAGEMENT,etc.
You should prepare for entrance exams like CAT,MAT,XAT to get admission in top IIMs and other private colleges for MBA course.
