As you asked for the suggestion between MMMUT Gorakhpur and HBTU Kanpur for Mechanical engineering.  So, here I will suggest you to go for HBTU kanpur instead of MMMUT as:

• HBTI is the old institute since have strong alumini.
• HBTI provide good placement as compare to MMMUT.
• HBTI  is the first choice for UPSEE Aspirants and MMMUT comes on 3rd place.
