Hey dear, an individual after passing 12th class through science stream  encounters many opportunities in which he/she can excel. But when it comes to interest not everyone has the same taste. So, it depends on your choice what you want to become neglecting the peer pressure. Many science students go for b.tech but few of them excel in engineering due to lack of self reality check of a student.

I would say that the best option after science is first of all knowing yourself and than go for your goals. Although is you are a great science student and have interest in it, than you should definitely go for engineering, otherwise try for defence services.

prepare for IIT JEE with full efforts, and get in to an IIT college, live your life there to the fullest , score well and get placed in some MNC's.
