You can get in Indian Navy in 2 ways, either by applying to direct entry in Navy (Join Indian Navy) or by giving CDS exam(Civil Defense Services).

CDS exam is for all 3 types of defense services i.e. Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Army in which you can give your own choices as priority.

The journey doesn't stop here. Clearing any of these exam is just a stepping stone, to become an officer you have to give SSB. SSB is a 5 day test in which the officials will test you both physically and mentally.
