Dear student,

The femur is one of the most important and well known bone of the human skeleton system. It is the longest and strongest bone in a human body , one of the most well preserved in skeletal remains  and it makes greatest contribution to the archaeology.

The femur runs from the keen to the hip. It carries all the upper body weight . The other parts of the leg are tibia , femur , fibula and knee cap.

The femur is the largest bone of the body. Other than this it is also the strongest bone in the human body. This bone is located in the thigh part of the body and it is also known as thigh bone. This bond has a spread from keen to the hip of the human body. The size of the femur bone is 19.9 inches.
